Granada

Dear Cap Hill,

I’ve been cheating on you. I fell passionately in love with the great country of Spain, specifically Madrid (the cheese! the wine!), Granada (the cobblestone!), and Andalucia (the everything!). Forgive me. Trust that I have returned with an abundance of wonderful ideas for the next big thing.

Hint: Cheese and Wine are involved.

Te amo,

Voice of the Hill, Ward 6’s local paper, announced Tuesday it will cease publication.

The paper, founded by H Street residents and power-couple, Adele Robey and her late husband Bruce Robey, will be sorely missed by those in our community.

This is great news for Cap Hill! We’ve lived with a plastic-wrapped beast of a building for nearly a year. (It was so well disguised that I lived on 7th Street for a month before realizing what it was.) Read the rest of this entry »
